Societe Generale Equipment Finance (SGEF) knows that the key to delivering superior value to future customers will depend on efficiency and speed. This will require new tools powered by the latest technology. But SGEF is a bank, not a tech company.
That’s why SGEF launched the Digital Factory in 2019. As an independent team of specialists — with our own office, culture, and ways of working — we can focus entirely on building powerful technology solutions for SGEF.

There aren’t any bosses here. Ok, there’s Alex who manages our daily operations and directs our work. Otherwise we’re all equals and make decisions together.
Autonomy
Since there’s no hierarchy, we’re free to choose how we get our work done. So those who are self-directed and self-organized thrive here.
Collaboration
Just because there aren’t any ranks or rigid processes doesn’t mean that work happens in silos. Quite the opposite! Work only gets done because we support one another.
Trust
Nobody has the time (or desire) to micromanage each other’s work. We trust each other to get the job done right, and ask for help when needed.
Transparency
We proactively share what we’re working on and what’s getting in our way so that we can unblock things faster. Daily stand-ups at 10 every morning also help.
Client focus
At the end of the day, we’re building products. Products for people who have real needs and big challenges. Making them happy is why we work so hard in the first place.
